Rocky Horror Vacations in Orlando -- Page One
It's a Small World After All... [ Page One | Page Two | Page Three | Page Four | Page Five | Page Six | Page Seven ]
On October 11-14, 2001, Rocky
Horror Vacations was held in Orlando, Florida. It was a small, fun Con and
a good time was had by (just about) all... Unfortunately, my camera got
damaged, and less than half of the photos I took came out. Fortunately, I'll be
putting up some taken by other people as well, and there are other pages out
there with RHV pics. As always, I'm horrible at remembering names and placing
them to faces; so if any captions need to be added or corrected, just email me.

I arrived on Friday, the 12th, with my ride and roomie Vanessa (a.k.a.
Q). We quickly put on some costumes (me as Ryoga Hibiki, Q in part of her Mephistopheles
Smith ensemble) and staggered out to mingle...

We were easily amused and distracted.
The costume theme was sci-fi -- we see here Sheri "Mom" Timmerman as Miss Piggy
in "Pigs in Spaaaaaaace", Leeloo from "The Fifth Element", and someone in a
traditional duct- and electrical-tape costume (don't those hurt to take off?)
A couple of locals having elbow sex, and a couple of deranged Starfleet
personnel. I was dressed as Commander
Storvik in a half-Starfleet, half-Transylvanian costume that I had
originally made for the Tucson convention (and when I tried wearing it now, the
pants kept falling off) and Mike Gamsby (Home of Happiness) was a dead
red-shirted ensign.
Once again, we all learned who was to blame as Sue Blane hosted a very good Q&A
session, and knighted Sean Twomey with a Milbro wrench/slingshot/dessert
topping. At right, Q is very Qute with Bradwinkle the moose.
