EC2000 Allentown Convention Photo Album -- Page Two
We're conning here in Allentown...

These photos were taken at the East Coast 2000 RockyCon in Allentown, PA. I
didn't take a lot of pictures (certainly not as much as I took for Las Vegas or Denver but more
than I took in Tucson), but here's some of what I did get.
As always, I'm horrible at remembering names and placing them to faces (at least
I'm not the only one; I was mistaken for Sal Piro and Bill Brennan by people at
this Con) so if any captions need to be added or corrected, just email me.
Shock Treatment -- I didn't take many pictures of this (but Kate and plenty of other
people did, don't worry). This was my first ST Con performance, as Marriage
Maze host Bert Schnik. I didn't have anything to drink before my performance (I
promised Quad), but as soon as I was done... Anyway, what I saw of the show
looked like one of the best Con STs I've seen, and I'm glad I didn't give in to
my evil drunken idea of walking back into the ballroom with the remote and
speeding up/slowing down the tape (the VCR and video projector belonged to me
and Jim). ;)
LEFT: Jessica Feldman as Baby Spice (that guy in the back with the pink
hair, blue hat, and lederhosen -- the one who looked like the Swiss Miss on
acid -- is her boyfriend Sean)
RIGHT: Two of our biggest Nell groupies, Kate and Todd Douglass (winner of the
best Screen Accurate Rocky, member of Castle Transylvanians) await
her entrance. Both needed clean underwear before the afternoon was over...
LEFT: Nell does "The Swim"
RIGHT: Nell signing my "Fever" single. Nell also confirmed that it is indeed
she on page 252 of the February 2000 Vogue. My two autographs:
(I animated the back of the Fever single HERE)
Nell is presented with a doll for her daughter, and gets her first look at the
Columbia "Headliner"...
LEFT: Kate asks Nell a question (which isn't "So, what are you doing tonight
after the show?") and gets her autograph.
LEFT: Nell with the other Con guest, Tom Savini
CENTER: Uncle Ken again, disappointed that he didn't get to show this one to Quad
RIGHT: Terrence and Phillip, those ... Canadians!
The Rocky Horror/Disney pre-show which, to my great surprise, has NOT given me
nightmares every night since the convention... (Jessica's rabbit fur boa was a
VERY nice touch!)
The Spice Girls preshow
The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- I didn't take any pictures of this (or
the Full Body Cast's awesome
preshows) because I forgot to bring my camera... But again, plenty of other
people did...
And finally, a super-rare photo that you won't find on Larry's site or ebay: Me at a RockyCon drinking pure spring
water.
